Having recently become a unitary authority, this council is undergoing a huge amount of change and restructure and the impact of this upon the now centralised corporate procurement team has been significant.
Experienced procurement professionals with experience of procurement principles and practices within local authority are required to join the team to work through a large number of supplier contracts, in many cases introducing supplier agreements, from starting up the tender process to finalising approved supplier agreements for a wide range of products and services
Experience Required
Procurement experience within the public sector is essential.
