Profitable fast moving manufacturing company producing branded product recognised throughout the world offers technically challenging role requiring strong character and commercial judgement, a person able to drive change and provide financial support from the business planning function to ensure divisional financial objectives are met.
• Prepare, develop and maintain reporting, forecasting and budgeting tools (Principally Excel based) to enable the business planning function to operate efficiently, while providing all operational users with sufficient detail to manage their own areas of responsibility.
• Reconciling the primary live financial reporting tool (Cognos) to divisional financial accounting data to ensure data is accurate, relevant and up to date
• Report on all required trade channels
• Sales analysis and comparatives
Support to our client's sales and marketing functions requires a confident qualified/part qualified accountant with experience of financial analysis, strong with Excel, ideally including use of Cognos, preferably gained in a fast moving profit and cash focussed business.
