Temporary part time position for an Estates Officer dealing with acquisitions, disposals and valuations of property.

Identifying opportunities for rationalisation and/or disposal
Planning and undertaking estate management casework
Negotiating the acquisition of land and property (freehold or on lease/tenancy/licence as appropriate).
Purchase to meet service needs.
Undertaking asset valuations, highlighting assets where market value is likely to be in excess of stated book value
Undertaking inspections, studies, cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments as required to manage operational land and property holdings.
Maintain asset data records
Contribute to the strategies for the disposals of surplus assets
Experience Required
Subject to CRB Standard disclosure
Relevant professional qualification - MRICS or RIBA essential
Experience of undertaking an estate management caseload - valuation, acquisitions, disposals, leasing/letting covenants, compensation and rating.
