Overview
A good opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join a new up and coming company.
Company
A newly found food manufacturer in the Newcastle area, with a well established order book and a large production facility.
Job
Providing day to day technical support to the Manufacturing and ancillary areas. The purpose of the role is to ensure good production flow and ensuring that all health and safety, cost and quality standards are maintained.
The role will allow independence. You will be expected to make your own decisions and action taking. Ensuring that care is exercised in handling all ingredients and materials to maintain quality standards and minimise use of resources and responsible for overall up time of process equipment and plant and machinery.
PLC experience and a background in Food Manufacturing are essential for the role.
Experience
An in depth knowledge of the processes and functions of the Manufacturing areas. Must be capable of working on your own as well as part of a team. Training in the following would be advantageous: basic food hygiene, IOSH, manual handling and GMP's. Targets will be set for quality, quantity, time and cost.
Initially you will be on dayshift, however a two-shift pattern may be introduced so you need to be flexible.
Remuneration
