Large public sector organisation that has transformed overall performance in recent years, thanks to strong leadership and a forward thinking approach, requires new Finance Manager as part of restructuring of its finance team.
Responsible for the management and performance of Treasury and Accounts sections, you will ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, integrity and business focus of financial systems and processes, providing:
• Strategic financial & business planning advice
• Corporate reports
• Statutory accounts and returns
You will also investigate and advise on highly complex issues, contributing to the management of the Finance Department, deputising for the Head of Finance as required.
We need a qualified (3+ years) accountant with experience gained in a complex organisation, especially in areas such as annual budget setting/monitoring, accounts preparation, cost allocation and process improvement. We’re also looking for evidence of professional development, high level leadership qualities, customer focus and excellent communication skills.
