Tyne North Training offers advanced apprentice candidates (level 3) the opportunity to achieve their full potential by providing maximum support throughout the apprenticeship programme and beyond by funding HNC and degree qualifications for existing and ex-apprentices.
We offer employed advanced apprenticeship opportunities with approximately 100 local companies across all areas of engineering manufacturing:
Mechanical manufacture engineering, Fabrication and welding, Electrical engineering, Engineering maintenance (mechanical & electrical), CNC and tool-making, Electronics engineering, Marine engineering, Engineering technical support, Installation and Commissioning.

The advanced apprenticeship programme takes between 3 ½ - 4 years to successfully complete containing the following components: Performing engineering operations (PEO) NVQ level 2, Key skills level 2, Technical certificate, either BTEC or City & Guilds in engineering at level 3, NVQ level 3.
Once you join your company you will have the full support of one of our dedicated Training Officers, expert in the trade area of each individual apprentice.
